James Kennedy is one of the most scandalous and controversial cast of the reality show Vanderpump Rules. He joined the show in 2014. The Bravo reality show first aired in 2013. It was a spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, focusing on Lisa Vanderpump.
Kennedy was introduced in the show in its second season. He was dating Kristen Doute, a main cast member of the show. Their relationship has been a focus because it has a lot of drama, just like most reality shows are, but also because they also get into violent confrontations with each other.
James and Kristen eventually broke up, as toxic as their relationship was. But even though the pair had separated, James still remained on Vanderpump Rules.
As mentioned, he was controversial and scandalous. He would often pick fights with other people. He’s had disputes with other cast members. And he was offensive most of the time.
Vanderpump Rules Spoilers – His alcohol dependency
In the show, his attitude toward others is mostly affected by his alcohol consumption. It was a topic on the show, and about 4 years ago, he started his sobriety journey. He was able to stay sober for about two years but eventually started drinking again.
He was recently interviewed in Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. He was asked about the likelihood that his girlfriend’s mom would watch Vanderpump Rules. James is currently dating Ally Lewber. According to sources, Ally Lewber is an entertainment journalist. She wasn’t really in the limelight before James, and she started dating.
He said that he had already met Ally’s mother and recommended watching the show. Even though he is negatively portrayed in the show, he does not seem to care. He said that he couldn’t change his past, but you could grow out of it. So, he wasn’t really concerned about Ally and her family seeing him in the show because that was just who he was, and he’s more mature now.

James introduced Ally as his girlfriend in the premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 10 last month, but he had already revealed dating her back in 2022.
Last year, he revealed that he and Raquel Leviss broke up. They got engaged in 2021.
