Nick’s steady, experienced dad demeanor is something that Sally deeply values. The contrast between Nick’s ease and his brother’s fluidity is stark.
Sometimes Adam is sweet, as his offer to buy Sally a home reinforced. But at other moments, like when he quit Newman Media and told Sally they had no future, her faith in him was broken.

Adam has fallen in love on multiple occasions. Among the women, he loved included Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Both ladies added his famous last name to their maiden monikers when they married him.
Sharon will always be fond of Adam. TPTB reversed SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) this character when Grossman became the recast. So, the dynamic is slightly different between them, compared to when Adam (then played by Michael Muhney) and Sharon first sparked years ago.
Chelsea has become Adam’s other go-to moral compass source. As her recovery continues and she becomes involved with Billy, Adam is noticeably more protective of her.
Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Not Certain About The Future
Nick’s greatest love is arguably Sharon because of the children they share. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is no lower than second, though she can be placed aside from Sharon because of the intensity of their connection and because she is the only woman Nick married twice.
As for Sally, Nick loves her but is not sure what the future of their relationship will be. While he was devastated not to be the father of Sally’s expectant child, he vowed to remain with her.
Sally’s admiration for Nick deepened. Yet, the doubts Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) planted in Sally’s mind produced an immediate, though undetermined effect.

Sally’s love for Adam persists. At this point in the plot, she is more than just willing herself to be with Nick. She has developed genuine feelings for him that appear to be love.

However, the bond she and Adam share is undeniable and will generate uncertain results. Her relationship with Nick will likely not be tested by his loyalty but rather by his ability to maintain confidence in their bond.
Nick is willing himself to believe Sally’s love for him will eclipse whatever she still feels for Adam. The dream of Adam being a part of the baby’s life, while romantically disconnected from Sally, will be increasingly tested as the due date approaches this summer on Y&R.

Of course Sally wants Nick he is a protector for her and a sex partner. But for real she is still in love with Adam. If things do not go right she runs to Nick. When will he see this. The same way he did Sharon, he always ran to Phyllis. That was when Sharon had to let him go. It was not right for him to do that but he did, the same way Sally is doing Nick now. Looks like Nick would see this pattern happening again. What is wrong with him, he is not hisself. Do not like his character now it is all about sex and keeping her away from Adam. Put Adam and Sally back together, they were good together. Let them raise this baby.
