Young And The Restless Spoilers: The Bicentennial Bash Will Be An “Affair To Remember”
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest festivities for the show’s 50th-anniversary celebration will commence starting Thursday, March 23rd. It’s important to note that the soap’s actual birthday is March 26th, but as this lands on a Sunday, the daytime drama will begin revving up for party fun, this coming week. Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently caught up with the show’s Executive Producer, Josh Griffin, who shares all the juicy details of the bicentennial gala (without giving away too much).
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – It’ll Be A Week-Long Event, So Fans Need To Stay Tuned
Y&R spoilers imply that while things will get going this Thursday, the drama will play out through to the week of March 27th. Griffin notes to SOD that it’ll be an “affair to remember”, stating that character returns will start to take place the week of March 20th. From Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton), Danny Romalotti (Michael Damien), Gina Roma (Patty Weaver), Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), and Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd); there will be plenty of fan fair during the gala, as well as drama, and some fallout to events, after the fact.
Y&R Spoilers – Fans Should Expect Some Flashbacks, But Also “In-The-Moment” Drama
Griffin notes that there will be some nostalgic flashback sequences over the two-week 50th-anniversary celebration; however, the stories told during the gala will offer some real-time commotion. Josh also reveals that through “flashback” video scenes newer Y&R fans will see where Genoa City residents have been, to follow where they are going moving forward.
