General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates tease that William Lipton will soon be back after his temporary exit from the show.
William Lipton, who plays Cameron Webber in General Hospital, temporarily exited the show recently. In the show, he is currently in college, but so does in real life. He said that he will be back after the school year ends. It means he will be back in the summer.
He had an official send-off in the show recently. He has been in the show since 2018 and appeared in over 300 episodes. But his character has been in the show since 2008, with multiple recasting as the character ages. According to him, being in the show is a big part of his life and he doesn’t have any plans on leaving yet. He appreciates being in the show and being part of a great community, he added.
General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens After He leaves?
We are not quite sure what will happen after Cameron’s brief exit. We know that he recently broke up with Josslyn, which is kind of sad because a lot of fans were into it when they got together. They were a great pair, but fate says otherwise. According to Eden McCoy, who plays
Josslyn, it was the end of an era for the two of them. She said that the time Cam and Josslyn were together was practically a long time when it comes to soaps, and it has to end. Josslyn is now with Dex, played by Evan Hofer. So, coming back together may probably be out of the picture, but who knows?
Josslyn had moved on, but who would be there for Cameron when he comes back? He was pretty nice with Esme, too. He was one of the few that were nice to her. And it kind of bums her out that almost everyone who likes her in Port Charles tends to leave.
General Hospital Spoilers – William Lipton Outside General Hospital
Apart from General Hospital, William Lipton also played Alfred Thatcher in the movie The Adventures of Thomasina Sawyer. He also appeared in several short films. The role wasn’t initially for him. Cameron was portrayed by Cade McWatt first before they did a recast and William got the role. He joined in August 2018.

William is pretty young and has a lot of things ahead of him. And being part of General Hospital as one of the regular casts is a huge deal. We believe that we’ll see more of him in the future.
