It’s been a year this month since he told his TLC fans that soon, they would get an answer about his visa application. Has anything changed? Plenty of people didn’t take to Jon when he was on the show. TLC fans thought he was too direct and too rough, and they branded him unwanted in the USA. That’s because he has a criminal conviction from when he attend college decades ago. Actually, he punched someone and they ended up injured. Although he never went to jail, that criminal record kept him from getting a visa. This time last year, it seemed that soon, he would be able to move to the USA.

90 Day Fiance fans who follow the couple see a lot of agonizing moments. Nowadays, they softened their attitude toward Jon. That’s because the couple sometimes spend time together but there’s always that dreaded flight home for Rachel and her daughter Lucy. This weekend, Lucy celebrated her sixth birthday, and Jon still isn’t in the USA. Bear in mind, fans met her when she was still a baby. Nowadays, many fans just feel sorrow because it’s not like Jon is a drug dealer or worse.

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Jon & Rachel Closer To Getting His Visa?

When Rachel posted about Lucy’s birthday, of course, it made people wonder if Jon will soon be arriving stateside.  Well, the answer came in March when Rachel became emotional. At the time, she explained that delay after delay comes for them. Initially, they were told there was “a 6-9 month wait time.” That came after the original application which would take about three years.

90 Day Fiance fans heard from Rachel that instead of just a few months, it could take up to “27.5 months.” Sadly, she said, “I stopped checking after that because just keeps pissing me off.” With all the undocumented arrivals in the USA, some TLC fans suggested that he should fly to Mexico and just walk into the country. However, that doesn’t seem to be the answer because she didn’t reply.

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – TLC Fans Lose Hope?

90 Day Fiance fans know that Rachel can’t leave the USA and live in the UK because she has another child and that involves custody issues. Some fans feel like the couple might never live together as husband and wife. However, the bulk of them still have hope for Jon and Rachel Walters. One of them suggested, “what about contacting your federal representative?”

Apparently, she did, but the answer comes back that they aren’t “beyond the wait time and we have to keep waiting.” Actually, it seems that they keep moving the goalposts. What are your thoughts? Sound off in the comments below.
