Jada didn’t expect to see her sister in Salem, and even more surprising was Talia’s choice of career. Talia earned top honors in medical school and yet she took a job working with Chanel DuPris (Raven Bowens) as a baker at Sweet Bits. Chanel needed the help since her original partner, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) took off.

Jada believed that it was Talia’s dream to become a doctor. But Talia was quick to point out that it was their father’s dream, not hers. Jada had no choice but to go along with her sister’s plans but it was still confusing. In the meantime, Talia has wasted no time endearing herself to both Chanel and her mother, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). Talia’s arrival unfortunately coincides with quite a dangerous time for Paulina and Chanel.

Someone has trashed Paulina’s office In addition, Paulina has received a threatening note. All signs point to Sloane Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) as the culprit, but Sloane has proclaimed her innocence and there was no evidence for the police to hold her. Sloane blames both Paulina and Chanel for the death of her mother so she was obviously the main suspect. But if Sloane is innocent, then who is the guilty party?

It seems quite suspicious that Talia showed up in Chanel’s life just as Paulina’s stalker began their threats. The fact that Talia is working as a baker instead of as a doctor is also suspicious. Could someone be coercing Talia into going after Paulina and Chanel? Perhaps she is working for Sloane or another one of Paulina’s enemies. Paulina has amassed quite a fortune over the years and is sure to have made quite a few enemies. Perhaps one of them is pulling Talia’s strings?
