Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate some interesting plot twists up ahead in Genoa City. Could one of them be a splashing return by Fenmore Baldwin (Zach Tinker)? That’s hard to say; however, Soap Hub recently chatted with Tinker about primetime projects, his time in GC, and if a Y&R comeback is possible.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Surprise, Surprise, Fen Baldwin Is Back (& He’s Brought A Friend)
Back in January of this year when the Y&R was celebrating Tracey E. Bregman’s (Lauren Fenmore) 40th anniversary with the soap, Tinker reprised his Fen Baldwin role, surprising fans by showing up during the special episode. That’s not the only thing he surprised fans with, as Fen was accompanied by Trey (Julian Larach). Tinker notes he was “thrilled” to learn his character not only came out to his parents but also found love. Zach also states that representation is nice, and it’s always great to see his Y&R family.
Up until that point, the Fen character was thought to be heterosexual. From the introductions, it was clear that Fen came out as gay to his parents Lauren and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) off camera. Tinker notes he liked the story, but he wished that it was “explored” a little more. Still, he also states that the focus was on Lauren that day, as it was “Tracey’s episode”.
Y&R Spoilers – Zack Tinker Has Been Busy With Primetime Work
Tinker recently exited from his Days of Our Lives role, where he played Sonny Kiriakis. He entered the land of primetime shortly after, playing fireman Collin O’Reilly on the CBS drama Fire Country. In addition, Tinker is scheduled to appear in the movie Laced, about a woman who devises a plan to “bump” off her abusive husband; however, an unexpected snowstorm threatens to jeopardize her scheme.

With that said, the silver lining in this all is that his current Fire Country role wouldn’t necessarily stop Tinker from visiting GC more often. Tinker notes that he’s “wrapped” up the season for Fire Country and he’s back in L.A. after shooting a flick in Peurto Rico. Zach states if the Y&R invited him back, he’d love to swing by for a visit!
