EJ had helped Li to keep Stefan and Gabi apart. Stefan found out the truth about EJ and wanted to get revenge on him. Stefan had tried to undermine EJ by drugging him. Stefan had accidently drugged Nicole while he was coming after EJ. Nicole and EJ found out the truth and decided to give Stefan a taste of his own medicine.
Stefan found out that EJ knew that he was trying to take him down. Stefan and EJ have pretended to make peace with each other. EJ has found out that Stefan and Gabi want to find a way to be together but Gabi has made a deal with Li. Gabi had gotten married to Li but she does not want to be with him. Li has told Gabi that she can have his shares in DiMera Enterprises but she cannot be with Stefan. EJ found out that Stefan and Gabi have been together. EJ has sent proof that Gabi has been with Stefan to Li. EJ may tell Tony about his effort to outmaneuver Stefan. Tony may believe that EJ needs to stop going after Stefan.
