General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) isn’t going to leave her bestie, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), feeling very warm and fuzzy when she backs up Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) instead of her. What Nina doesn’t understand is that Ava and Carly have a sort of kinship. They’re bonded by the shared experience of being mothers to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) children — something Nina knows nothing about and never will. When Carly makes yet another comment about Nina not really being cut out for being Sonny’s woman, Ava just might think she has a point. Nina is going to feel that knife twist!

When Sonny’s empire ends up under fire, it’s going to be a family effort to keep it from crumbling. Even Ava might have to pitch in to make sure her daughter’s father is kept safe and Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) isn’t at risk because her father can no longer protect her. Carly will have to step up to the plate to run the business when no one else can — and that’s going to plant Sonny and Carly back in close communication. Nina will struggle to tolerate this while feeling like she’s been iced out of the most important events happening in his life.
