The acclaimed series, Studio City, follows the tumultuous life of Sam Stevens, a seasoned soap opera actor, as he battles through various professional and personal obstacles. The show’s star, Kanan, received recognition for his outstanding performance and won the award for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
Joining him in the winner’s circle were General Hospital’s Carolyn Hennesy, who won for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and B&B alumni Tristan Rogers and Lilly Melgar, who respectively won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series. The outstanding performances of these talented actors have undoubtedly contributed to the show’s success.
“I am ecstatic. I was happy for everyone. These characters are my children. To see them embodied by these incredibly talented actors above the page is even better. It’s unbelievable. It’s like being a proud father,” Kanan said.
