General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that singer Blaze has officially exited Port Charles’ storylines. Actress Jacqueline Grace Lopez recently chatted with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about her character’s departure from the daytime drama.
GH Spoilers: Blaze Is No Longer Needed Now That Harrison Chase Is A Cop Again
GH spoilers state that after Blaze’s appearance in front of the review committee, she will no longer be appearing in storylines. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) officially got his PCPD badge back, so there won’t be much more singing in his future. Lopez Talks Blaze Exiting
Lopez tells SOD, with the end of that storyline, also came the end of her stint on GH. She adds she felt a little “overwhelmed” walking off the set on her last day. She adds the role helped change her life in “so many ways”, and she will always be grateful for how she grew as an actress and all the friends she made.

Some GH fans may not be aware; however, Blaze was not the first role Lopez played in the soap opera. Back in 2015 and once again in 2016, she appeared as a babysitter on the show. Blaze first arrived in town in November 2022, appearing at Charlie’s Pub, and was instantly connected to Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) storyline. She and Chase became good friends, and she even admitted to the sweet singer that her real name was Allison Rogers.
Blaze’s final scene with the soap occurred on Monday, April 17th when she spoke to the review committee on behalf of Chase. While she is gone for now, Lopez teased to SOD that even the “dead” return to the land of daytime drama, so she’s hoping to see fans “around”. She’s not wrong; who knows if Blaze will ever make a comeback?
