Chanel is aware that Sloan believes that she destroyed her family. Chanel had gotten involved with Sloan’s father Dr. Nathan Bedford (uncast character) in college. Chanel and Nathan tried to keep their relationship a secret from Nathan’s wife Martha Peterson Bedford (uncast character). Martha found out the truth and confronted Chanel. Martha and Chanel argued which led to Martha’s accidental death. Chanel had turned to her mother Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) to get her out of trouble with the law. Sloan has wanted to find a way to bring Chanel and Paulina to justice. Sloan tried to use the law to go after Paulina and Chanel but her efforts failed.
Paulina found out that her office had been vandalized. Paulina believed that Sloan had trashed her office and has been sending her threatening messages. Chanel wanted to expose Sloan’s activities. Chanel went to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to get him to run a story on Sloan in the Spectator. Chanel had thought that she would be able to get Sloan to leave her alone but she has found out that her business Sweet Bits has been targeted. Chanel has found out that the biscuits that she was selling had been laced with a drug. Chanel believes that Sloan has decided to try to ruin her business to get back at her.
DOOL Spoilers – Chanel Dupree Enlists Alex Kiriakis To Go After Sloan Peterson
Chanel believes that she can find a way to hurt Sloan. Chanel knows that Sloan is in a relationship with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Chanel may believe that she can find a way to make Sloan lose Eric. Chanel knows that Alex had been in a relationship with Sloan in the past. Alex and Sloan had broken up because Alex had wanted to help Chanel to get out of trouble from Sloan.
