The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, news, and updates tease that Kimberlin Brown opened up about her alter ego’s current situation. Fans know that Sheila Carter is currently in prison. What does the future hold for her character?
After Sheila’s arrest, fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are speculating whether this marks the end of her character’s journey in the sudser. Meanwhile, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is grappling with his feelings towards her and regrets turning her in to the police. Even though Deacon still holds strong emotions for her, Sheila doesn’t bear any ill will towards him.
Brown said that what happened to her alter ego was “heartbreaking,” but she added that “she understands” what happens.
“She does care deeply for Deacon and doesn’t want him to be harmed by her or her actions. Even when she was hiding out, she was always trying to protect him,” she said during an interview with Soap Opera Digest.
The actress described Sheila as someone who is “loyal to a fault.”
“Clearly, Deacon had a lot to lose with his association with her, and she knows why he did what he did,” she added.
While the possibility of life in prison looms over Sheila, her past has shown viewers her ability to evade the legal consequences of her actions. With Deacon by her side, Sheila finds hope for the future, despite the current bleak circumstances.
“I think she definitely fantasizes about him,” Brown mused, “because when you’re locked up, you have a lot of things to think about. You think about what could have been and how things could have ended differently. That being said, she is locked up now and her only hope at this moment is the possibility of maybe getting out one day,” she continued.

The question remains whether Sheila has one more trick up her sleeve that could potentially get her out of jail and allow her to explore a future with Deacon. For now, fans will just have to stay tuned for further updates.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will soon visit Sheila in prison. In upcoming scenes, both women will clash but the latter won’t be able to do anything because she’s handcuffed to the table. In the end, Steffy will enjoy knowing that Sheila is in prison and paying for her crimes.
