Liam has been worried that his wife Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is working with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Liam may need to get his brother Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) to help him deal with the problems he is having with Thomas and Hope.

Liam may remind Wyatt that he has a turbulent past with Thomas. Liam knows that Thomas has wanted to be in a relationship with Hope. Liam is aware that Thomas had kept the secret that Liam and Hope’s daughter Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) was alive. Liam knows that Thomas tried to make amends because he helped to clear Liam’s name when he was being accused of killing Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero). Liam had thought that Thomas had changed but Thomas decided to use underhanded tactics to bring his mother Dr. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and his father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) together.
Thomas knew that Ridge was married to Hope’s mother Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Thomas knew that Brooke was concerned about him spending time with his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Thomas framed Brooke for calling Child Protective Services on him to get Ridge to leave Brooke.
Thomas thought that his plan would work but Douglas and his sister Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) found out the truth. Douglas and Steffy brought the truth about Thomas to light. Thomas had been shunned by his family for his betrayal. Hope had been working with Thomas on her fashion line Hope for the Future. Hope did not want to work with Thomas because he had sabotaged Brooke’s marriage to Ridge. Liam had been relieved that Hope would not be working with Thomas.

Liam has made Wyatt aware that Hope had been having trouble with Hope for the Future. Hope had tried to work with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) to take Hope for the Future in a different direction. Hope was shocked that the new direction for Hope for the Future was a failure without Thomas. Hope had been surprised that Steffy had wanted her to work with Thomas to save Hope for the Future.
Steffy believes that Thomas has been trying to find a way to get his life back on track. Steffy believes that Hope can trust Thomas to make Hope for the Future a success. Hope had been reluctant to work with Thomas again. Hope had discussed the matter with Liam. Hope knew that Liam did not want her to work with Thomas but Hope made the decision to give Thomas a chance to work with her.
Liam has been upset that Hope has been working with Thomas. Liam believes that Thomas is going to take advantage of Hope. Liam had thought that he could get Steffy to help him to deal with Thomas. Steffy has tried to assure Liam that she believes that Thomas has changed for the better. Liam may want to get Wyatt to help him find a way to keep Thomas from hurting Hope.
