The Young And The Restless: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that even though Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t like Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) now that she’s having his grandchild it’s different! Now that he knows that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) fathered her baby and not Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) he wants Adam to reconcile with his baby mama.

Victor wishes neither of his sons had ever met or become involved with “The Spectra Woman” as he calls her, but now that he knows Adam’s the father he’s plotting. He wants to break up Sally and Nick so Adam can be the father to his baby and not just the uncle-Nick’s got one of his sons already. Conner Newman (Judah Mackey) is with his mother and they co-parent, but Adam never sees Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) at all.

Adam fought to get Christian back when he first came back to Genoa City from Las Vegas. He lost the case and finally gave up, and Christian believes Adam’s his uncle.

Y & R Spoilers – Headed For A Heartache?

Victor also fears that the parental bond between Sally and Adam is stronger than the attraction she has to Nick, and he’s headed for a heartache in the long run anyway. Victor will try to push Sally and Adam together, but Nick will figure out what he’s up to and protest-loudly, and call him on his shady tactics. Years ago, it took a while for Victor to warm up to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as well but once Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) was born things changed. Nick loves Sally, or he thinks he does, in Victor’s opinion, and he’ll get over her as quickly as he fell for her and Victor will try to enforce it. Nick might doubt that Victor is doing this on his own and accuse Adam of being behind it, but he’ll be proven wrong.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – You Take The High Road I’ll Take The Low Road

Now, Victor will try to convince Nick to take the high road with Adam while he’s perceived as taking the low road with Adam at the same time. He’ll strike some kind of deal with Adam but he won’t pit brother against brother-they’re both Newmans, and Sally’s carrying a Newman heir. The baby being a Newman is what is most important to Victor, and whether eventually when she’s born Victor might try to get custody it’s too soon to tell.

But based on the history with Summer and Phyllis, Victor won’t try to take Sally’s baby. But he’ll continue to connive to keep her and Adam together, and break up her and Nick.
