The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is living inside a glass house that she wants her questionable soul mate to move into. The house is the Abbott mansion, where Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will live with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) soon.

Diane is behind bars, as the frame Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and the man she killed in self-defense, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), fit perfection. The late Jeremy developed an elaborate scheme that made it appear Phyllis was poisoned by Diane.

How did Jeremy get two bodies and have them charred beyond apparent recognition? Viewers were asked to accept that storyline stretch as part of Jeremy and Phyllis’ revenge scheme.

Jeremy arranged for two cadavers to be obtained and then put into the ambulance that was said to have crashed and burned. Phyllis was taken to the hospital on a circuitous route that many have questioned. Along the way, the vehicle is said to have crashed, with the ambulance driver and Phyllis perishing.

Unfortunately for Diane, a vile of blood was taken and retrieved. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) believe that Jeremy was involved in these odd circumstances. But they have also falsely concluded that Diane was in on the plan with Jeremy.

Diane feels Phyllis and Jeremy got her. Walters’ character also thinks Phyllis was likely Jeremy’s cover-up victim.

But Diane will be enlightened when Phyllis eventually reveals herself as alive to more than Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). It feels possible that Phyllis may choose, or be forced by circumstances, to be Diane’s savior.

Meanwhile, Jack has gone mad. He feels Diane was framed, and he is right. But how to prove that while also trying to have bail set for a major flight risk?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Is Over The Top

Ashley’s scolding of her brother Jack represents projection. The insecurities she feels about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) cause Ashley to believe the worst about Diane.

At the moment, Ashley’s instincts appear to have been right. But she, like so many others in Genoa City, Wisconsin, is wrong about Diane.

While Diane is no saint, she did not kill Phyllis. The open question is how Stafford’s character will orchestrate her full GC reveal so she does not go to prison on Y&R.
