Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that although Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) and Sloane Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) stated their relationship was simply casual, real romantic feeling may have begun to slip in, especially on Sloane’s part. Recently, Eric ate some tainted biscuits and ended up in bed with Nicole Walker (Arianna Zucker). Sloane walked in on the couple and had a much stronger reaction than she would have if their relationship was simply a physical one.

One thing that may keep Sloane and Eric from pursuing a full-on romance is Sloane’s desire to get revenge on Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and her daughter Chanel Dupris (Raven Bowens). Years ago, Chanel had an affair with Sloane’s father. Her mother found out about the affair and lured Chanel to a rooftop and after a struggle, Sloane’s mother fell to her death. Sloane blames Chanel for what happened to her mother and Paulina for covering it up.

Not long after Sloane arrived in Salem, she had Chanel arrested for murder and Paulina for obstructing justice. But Paulina hired Belle Black as their attorney, and Belle eventually had all charges dropped against both mother and daughter. Sloane then tried to sue Paulina in civil court and those charges were dropped as well. Sloane was furious and vower to get revenge one way or another. For his part, Eric has largely stayed out of the situation.

After seeing Nicole and Eric together, Sloane may realize she has fallen for Eric. Eric may feel the same way but will suggest there is no way they can be together as long as Sloane has so much hate in her heart for Paulina and Chanel. Even Sloane may agree that her need for revenge has taken over her life but she may not know how to even begin to forgive. That’s where Eric will come in. As a former priest, he is quite familiar with forgiveness and how to put it behind. If Sloane takes Eric’s advice, her romance with Eric may actually come to fruition.
