General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is starting to get cold feet about her decision to attack Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). It felt right at the time as she envisioned Carly being carted away by the police and ending up in federal prison, but that was before Nina really had any real understanding of how Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) operates when his family is under fire. For him, that still includes Carly, the mother of his children. Nina will find out the hard way to never play with the Corinthos clan again.

When Nina told Ava what she had done, she was surprised by her bestie’s reaction. But Ava knows Sonny and Carly all too well and never thought Nina would really move forward with such a rash and poorly thought out plan. How was she going to keep Sonny from finding out the truth? Did she really think using Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) to do her dirty work wouldn’t get traced back to her? She knows what kind of resources Sonny has — or doesn’t she? Nina has shielding herself from Sonny’s business so well that she honestly might not know how well it works. She’s going to now; that’s for certain.
GH Spoilers – Leak Brick Goes Digging
Sonny’s first step was deploying Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and making sure Carly walks out with her as a free woman. His next step is seeing to it that whoever reported Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly pays dearly for making that decision. When Sonny dispatches Brick to figure out the details, Nina will be worried sick that it will somehow be linked back to her. To be fair, she didn’t pick the most discreet, nor the most confident, attorney. If Marty starts feeling the hot breath of the mob breathing down his neck, there’s no telling if he’ll rat her out.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Has More Than Sonny Corinthos’s Loyalty
When it comes down to it, Carly knows where Sonny’s loyalties lie — and now Nina will too. However, it’ll be clear that she means much more than just family ties to the mob boss as he moves Heaven and Earth to keep her out of prison. This isn’t just about Sonny’s children, although he’s going to be furious with Nina for playing with the kind of fire that could cost them their mother. Rather, it’s clear Sonny isn’t over Carly, and he delights in being her savior. Moreover, Nina’s mistakes are going to cost her a much more important relationship — the one she’s hoping to have with her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
