The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) arrived at the Abbott mansion earlier than Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) expected him by at least a day. He moved quickly because her offer was too enticing.
Asking Tucker to move in with her was conditioned. He would have his own guest room, and if all went well, she would continue to consider reconciliation.
Tucker has a right to be suspicious of Ashley’s plan because she reversed his fortunes after buying McCall Unlimited’s debt and sending many mixed romantic messages since he returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Ashley has played some serious games with Tucker. One moment she is passionately kissing him. The other, she is standoffish.
It is fair to say that the divorce Tucker caused falls into the ancient history category. But Ashley has not remarried since, and Tucker is not known to have remarried. So, they remain each other’s most recent soul mates.
Tucker’s playboy history is coupled with his eccentric business flair that took him to far corners of the globe for many years. Ashley is simply trying to protect herself and has told him that many times.

Tucker will relish the opportunity to offer jabs at Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) whenever she is cleared of murder charges. Ashley will be totally on board with her roommate’s verbal efforts when they happen.
There is little doubt Ashley wanted Tucker to serve as a balance to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) demeanor. Bergman’s character detests Tucker as much as Diane and has been imploring Ashley to throw him off.
Ashley found Jack’s barbs insufferable because of his reconnection with a woman who lied about being killed for many years before announcing her return. Her relatively quick reunion with Jack and move into the house was too much. So, enter Tucker stage right.

Ashley’s dilemma is trying to determine if there is a way for Tucker to prove himself trustworthy. She wants to believe he has changed. But their entangled backstory provides natural hurdles.

Meanwhile, Jack’s fiance is facing murder charges. She says it was a frame, he believes her, and they will both be proven right. But it may take some soapy time for that to happen.
Jack was incensed when learning Ashley brought Tucker into the family sanctuary. But life is not all about Jack and Diane, as Ashley and Tucker intend to prove on Y&R.
