Ridge worked with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and the authorities to bring Sheila to justice. Ridge has been worried about Thomas. Ridge knew that Thomas wanted to bring him and Taylor back together.

Brooke wants RJ to stay to be close to her and his sister Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Brooke may believe that RJ should work at Forrester Creations because Hope works at the company. Hope works with Thomas on her fashion line Hope for the Future. Hope had been reluctant to work with Thomas because he had come between Brooke and Ridge.
