The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was coy when asked what he thinks about Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Ridge referenced a break but broke eye contact and was looking at the floor when his son brought the subject up.
RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) holds a unique place, being Ridge and Brooke’s only child. So, when RJ asks his dad about his mom, it is different than when any other character does the same.

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and RJ have the same mother. They have different fathers, with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) being Hope’s dad.
Noelle’s character was curious to know what Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) really thought about his younger brother returning to Los Angeles, California, after being out of town for years.
Thomas’ first-blush reactions were mixed. It appeared the audience was the only collective witness to Thomas seemingly being bothered by RJ’s unexpected comeback.
Hope senses that Thomas’ words do not match his heart. She thinks Thomas might be jealous of the attention RJ is getting and the threat he represents. That could be tested if Hoffman’s character accepts his father’s offer to begin designing.
B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan In Self-Imposed Limbo
Brooke is trying to remain Ridge-free. That is no easy task because she has loved Ridge since they first met in the late 1980s and married him an unfathomable eight times. That is a lot, even in the soap-world.
Lang’s character believes she is better off sticking to the pact she and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) created. Their meeting of the minds pleasantly surprised both ladies. It led to their serious intent to not reconcile with Ridge because it would restart the dysfunctional triangle that caused endless turmoil.

Ridge tried to coax Brooke into romance earlier this spring. She resisted his pull, passing the first real test of the pact since he returned from the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) sting operation.

His response to RJ’s question was telling. Ridge is not forlorn. He accepts that Brooke wants to remain split from him for now, with the currency of her intentions being Ridge’s focal point.
Kaye’s character believes their love, which overcame all odds many times in the past, will win out again. Brooke wants to distract herself from believing the same on B&B.
Some of this sounds very interesting. But I hate the thought that the truly reformed Thomas will be “taken down,” when for once he is blameless and Hope is the one lusting after him! Give the guy a break!
Hope and Ridge together yet again for a NINTH trip down the aisle is a tired idea.
The world is being shaken up. Why can’t “B&B” — which I love, incidentally — do the same?
