Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that May 3 was the 40th anniversary of Peter Reckell’s first appearance as Bo Brady. This being considered, fans were not exactly happy with the reunion they got when Bo was finally reunited with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) are years of being apart. Bo is still in a coma with Hpoe by his side and that is the last fans will see of the iconic duo for now.
Days Of Our Lives – Peter Reckell Talks With Michael Fairman
Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Peter spoke with Michael Fairman last week about what went on behind the scenes. If he hopes to return in the future and share some fond memories as well. Peter discussed working with “Frances Reid (ex-Alice), John Aniston (ex-Victor), Joe Mascolo (ex-Stefano), Peggy McCay (ex-Caroline), and Frank Parker (ex-Pop). In addition to his enduring scene partners: Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), Stephen Nichols (Steve), Josh Taylor (Roman), and the former Roman, Wayne Northrup.”
Peter admits that people had huge feelings about his recent run as the brainwashed Bo. Reckell says “It shows that the audience is passionate about what they want to see. The circumstances are rather difficult with us coming back for these short times and it’s so long in between the times we come back. Obviously, the audience wants something.”
DOOL Spoilers – Will Peter Reckell Come Back?
Peter says he received a call from Executive producer, Ken Corday about coming back and picking up on the story but nothing is set in stone right now. Of course, the writers’ strike is not helping this either. Ken says they are making some cuts at Days over the new 2 year pick up and he really doesn’t know what is going on between that and the strike. Reckell is thrilled to know Ken is thinking of him.
As for Bo’s story ending the way it stands right now, Reckell says, “It wouldn’t be fair to the fans. They poured a lot of themselves and their emotions (into this). It would be like when Bo left (in 2012) and never returned. They respected the fans enough back then to have Bo come back in and have a couple of weeks with a real goodbye. To leave it like this … I can’t even think about it. I don’t see how it’s possible. It would be very disrespectful to the fans.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Fans Were Not Thrilled Before
Long-time fans were not thrilled with the way writers would have Bo reappear only to disappear before. Fans felt as though Bo was made into a deadbeat father with all of his absences. Fans have been invested in Bo and Hope for decades and they want more. However, once the strike is settled, a return sometime soon can be discussed. Of course, Days tapes about six months out so even a return in June wouldn’t air until probably Christmas. Perhaps a Christmas miracle could be in the works.
