General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be over the moon that daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is back home safe and sound, she’ll also gear up for a battle. Robinson blames Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) for what Trina went through during the Haunted Star hostage situation, and she vowed to keep the two apart once her daughter came home. But will she be successful?
General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Robinson Is A Young Adult & Their Relationship Is Shaky As It Is
GH spoilers imply that Portia may warn Trina against a relationship with Spencer. She may outright disapprove of it, too. But will that stop Sprina from jumping into a romance together?
The two have been on quite an adventure. Working hand-in-hand they were able to not only save little Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) from his Uncle Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) grips, but they were also able to bring the villain to his knees. The two have bonded and are probably looking forward to some “normal” romance as soon as they land in Port Charles.
While Trina will listen to what her mother has to say, she doesn’t necessarily have to “follow” it. She is a young adult who is free to make her own decisions. On top of that, their relationship was on very shaky ground before Trina’s kidnapping. If Portia starts “bellowing” demands, she better tread lightly. Sure, both mother and daughter will be relieved they get another chance at a healthy relationship, but this hostage situation still can’t erase what Portia did.

Then again, once Trina makes it crystal clear to Portia that she followed Spencer on to the Haunted Star without his knowledge and he had nothing to do with her being a part of Victor’s plan, could Ms. Robinson have a change of heart where Spence is concerned?

Maybe she does, maybe she doesn’t; but here’s hoping she doesn’t resort to some underhanded moves like actively plotting to break Sprina up. That could result in further damage to her relationship with her daughter.
