As kids all over the world gear up to celebrate their moms this Sunday, May 14th, it’s time to pay tribute to a few mothers in the land of daytime drama! While Salem does have a ton of good moms, below are three that have been showcased for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans.

Losing a child is never easy, and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) continues to mourn the loss of her eldest child, Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller). While Jennifer has never been perfect, she’s always had good intentions, and without a doubt is one of the better moms in Salem. Jenn’s always put her children first, and there were many years she had to play the role of both mom and dad, as Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) was either away or thought to be dead.

Regardless, one has to wonder if Alice Horton’s (Frances Reid) influence on Jenn over the years positively affected her mommy skills. The answer to that question is likely, “yes”.

Days Spoilers – Sami Brady Is A Schemer, But As Fierce As A Momma Bear Can Get

Unlike Jennifer, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) has done more than her fair share of terrible things in Salem. With that said, there’s absolutely nothing she wouldn’t do for her children or to protect her kids. Even if that means coming face-to-face with unhinged (at the time) Susan Banks (Eileen Davidson) to find her thought-to-be dead son, Will Horton (Chandler Massey). These are the extreme lengths Sami will go to for her kiddos and grandchildren, too!

Sami’s a lot of things, but one thing is for sure, she’s a massive momma bear, and in many ways, her children are lucky to have her. Despite the drama she brings.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) doesn’t consider herself a mom of two, but rather three children. She is kind, sweet, nurturing, and has so much love in her heart that, despite their differences, she’s accepted Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) as one of her own. While his real mom (poor kid) is Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), he truly has a special bond with Kayla.
