General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has been pretty intent on confessing to her crimes. She can’t handle the anxiety that comes with worrying Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) will change his mind or be caught, nor does she want to look over her shoulder for the rest of her life worried that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will remember what happened to her and run screaming about it to the PCPD.
Elizabeth knows what this is going to cost her and her boys, but she just can’t stomach what she’s done or running from her bad decisions any longer. However, her tune might change when it is Esme herself that needs Elizabeth’s help.
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Baldwin Prepares To Confess
Elizabeth has been trying to get this off of her chest for weeks, but well-intentioned people who love her keep getting in her way. Rather, they don’t want to see her throw it all away — especially over what were primarily Nikolas’ poor decisions. Elizabeth can’t help but blame herself for going along with Nikolas’ scheme.
She didn’t have to help him, but she put her friend’s needs and wants above her own best interests and those of her sons. She thought she was doing everyone in Port Charles a favor, but she sees now how wrong she was. Despite Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) pleading with her not to do this, Elizabeth is ready to confess.
GH Spoilers – Hint Scott Baldwin Sets it Up
Scott is going to work on Elizabeth’s behalf to negotiate a deal for her. He doesn’t want to see Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) widow carted off to jail for something she got wrapped up into with good intentions while just trying to help a friend and protect the city she loves. However, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) may not see it that way. After all, he’s not a fan of any of the Cassadine’s and Elizabeth’s love for Nikolas could taint his perception of the good nurse. Still, Scott will advocate for his client’s rights and push for a deal that works out favorably for everyone.
General Hospital Spoilers — Laura Collins Swoops In
When Laura Collins (Genie Francis) delivers news of Nikolas’ grimm departure, things are going to take a turn that Elizabeth didn’t expect. She knows Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) said Nikolas had left town, but when Laura brings Elizabeth news that Nikolas’ body has been discovered, Elizabeth will be both devastated and conflicted. Will this change her decision to confess? Nope! As long as Esme could potentially remember Elizabeth’s involvement, she’s not safe to pretend she knew nothing about it. This will make things quite interesting when it is Elizabeth who Esme asks to take care of her child. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers ahead; this storyline is still just warming.
