General Hospital spoilers leak it will be abundantly clear that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) isn’t thrilled about the idea of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) getting married again, and especially not to Nina Reeves Cynthia Watros). She has caused his family more problems than he can count, and now it seems like she’ll only be further integrated into their lives. Michael can’t deny that he wished Sonny would just keep his affection for Nina under wraps, but that’s probably wishful thinking at this point. On the other hand, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is going to say and do all the right things — while encouraging her husband to follow her lead. Will Michael stay in line for Willow’s sake? It seems like this levy is bound to break at some point.

The news of Sonny’s proposal to Nina will undoubtedly send shockwaves through both their families — which are adjoined at the hip now. As Michael’s former stepfather, Sonny has been a pivotal figure in his life, raising him as his own and becoming the only father he’s ever really known. But with Willow’s recent discovery that Nina is her birth mother, the relationship between these two women has been strained to say the least. Although Michael’s relationship with Sonny might not be in tip-top shape, Michael will muster up a congratulatory handshake for his dad to make his own bride happy.
GH Spoilers – Tease Willow Tait’s Encouragement Only Goes So Far
Willow has enough on her plate while battling stage four leukemia and waiting for a bone marrow transplant. Instead of causing waves, she will be accepting and supportive of Sonny and Nina’s engagement. We wouldn’t expect anything else from her though, would we? Michael might not like his wife’s approach, but he’s going to follow her lead — for now. It may become more difficult for him to bite his tongue when he sees his mom get into the mix, though. This could be a turning point in which Willow sees Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in a very different light if her mother-in-law is not careful.

Nina’s decision to turn Carly into the SEC might have sealed her fate when it comes to walking down the aisle with Sonny. Carly is good at pulling people into her own personal drama, and she won’t stop short of that with her own kids. She knows Michael has made peace with his father, but that doesn’t mean his good will extends to Sonny’s new fiancé. If Carly needs back-up, she knows she can count on Michael to help her bury this engagement and make sure their marriage never sees the light of day.
