The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is coming down hard on Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). She wants her to stop playing mind games with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Viewers recall that Steffy blocked Hope from trying to bring Thomas back to Hope for the Future when the line started to suffer. That happened after Thomas was kicked out of the company following the framing of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Steffy reversed her stance weeks later, after Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) made a plea for Thomas. Maternal instincts drove Taylor, and her instincts have been proven right. Thomas is serious about redemption and is trying to prove his loyalty to everyone.

Hope was pressed by Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). He implored his wife not to allow Thomas to work with her again.
The cabin couple had a serious heart-to-heart talk, some crying was involved, and eventually Liam was convinced that he got through to Hope. She promised not to bring Thomas back as her lead designer.
The very next day Hope was influenced by Steffy’s take it or leave it options. She could approve of Thomas’ return to HFTF, or the line would be shelved indefinitely. Hope did not want to relinquish her work and agreed to Steffy’s terms.

To her credit, Steffy did put Thomas against the wall. He knew that if he stepped out of line or did anything against Hope, as he had repeatedly done before, a more permanent termination would follow.
Thomas got the message. He has been under collective surveillance. Atkinson’s character has passed all tests and is slowly regaining trust.
However, Steffy knows that Thomas would not be back at Forrester Creations without her ultimatum. Steffy is honest and knows deep inside that she will be linked to whatever may happen, including the totally unexpected reaction Hope has exhibited toward Thomas.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Can Leap Ahead
Thomas faced the high likelihood that he was going to be restrained indefinitely. It was possible that no one would fully trust him for the foreseeable future.
But an intriguing possibility exists if Hope can not control her romantic feelings for Thomas and makes a play for him. Thomas could say no.

The above scenario is counter-intuitive because Thomas often acknowledged he cares deeply for her. Faced with the opportunity to have her chase him, it would seem certain that he would gleefully receive her overtures.
But if Thomas is the bigger person, his stature would rise to unthinkable heights. As for Hope, her reputation would be forever changed on B&B.
