Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) frame of Brooke led to Taylor learning the truth on her remarriage day to Ridge. But Taylor withheld what she knew from Ridge during the ceremony until all was revealed.
Taylor’s part of the pact is best for her psyche, as Ridge has broken her heart on numerous occasions. She also keeps Brooke and Ridge apart by participating.
B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Is Not Used To Being Alone
Regarding the remarriage ceremony to Taylor, Ridge stopped it and departed. He subsequently took two separate time outs from his families.
The first trip was a respite from the drama. The second was a secret departure which included him working with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to obtain a murder admission from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
The ladies he loves decided they would not allow him to pick between the two. It would be self-absorbed revisionist history to claim Ridge controlled Brooke and Taylor across three-plus decades. Instead, Brooke, Taylor, and Ridge all willfully participated in a triangle.
Ridge is not used to being without a woman. He needs, not just wants, companionship. So, if Brooke is willing to give them to him, he will be ready to give she agrees to another go.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan’s One True Love
In recent months Brooke had offers from other men. Bill hounded her, but she reminded him about her sister, Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Tom’s character responded similarly to Bill, reminding him about his love for Brooke.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) loved Brooke until he fell in love with Sheila. She is behind bars but has an escape plan and could realistically reunite with him if that happens.
As for Brooke, Ridge was and remains her number-one man. So, the Italy kiss implies a renewed romance on B&B.
