Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) suffered a terrible loss last summer. His wife Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was brutally murdered last summer. Chad spent the rest of the year searching for his wife killer. Once Clyde Weston (James Read) was revealed as the murderer, Chad continued to mourn the loss of his beloved wife. The one bright spot in Chad’s life was the return of Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera and Stephanie Johnson Were Already Good Friends!
Stephanie returned to Salem to work on Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) campaign for Governor. Chad went to work for Stephanie and they became closer than ever. They even toyed with the idea of becoming more than friends but it quickly became apparent that Chad wasn’t quite ready to move on. In the meantime, Stephanie began dating Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). And even though Chad was obviously jealous, he wasn’t quite over Abigail.

Alex didn’t appreciate the fact that Chad was always hanging around them so when it came time for Stephanie and Alex to make love for the first time, Alex turned off Stephanie’s phone. Alex didn’t realize that Chad was calling Stephanie to tell her that Stephanie’s mother, Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) was on her deathbed. Because of this, Stephanie missed the chance to say goodbye to her mother. Stephanie figured out what Alex did and broke up with him for good.

With Alex out of the picture, Stephanie and Chad are finally ready to explore the possibility of romance between the two of them. Look for this couple to make love for the first time in the very near future. They still will have plenty of obstacles to get through. Stephanie may say she is done with Alex, but will it really be that easy for her to forget him? Meanwhile, Chad will have to say goodbye to Abigail once and for all. But is he ready for that?
