DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen was furious over Xander confessing to pining for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Gwen has been through the love triangle business with “Xarah” before. Gwen thought that was over when Sarah filed for divorce.
Since then, Gwen got the wrong idea about Xander and Chloe. Then, Gwen agreed to an intimate arrangement with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). It occupied Gwen for the time being.
However, Alex ended the arrangement to work on his issues. That means Gwen is going to be lonely and bored, Plus, Gwen tends to get extremely bitter and resentful when she’s not in a relationship. So, Gwen being alone yet again could reignite her focus on Xander.
DOOL Spoilers – Xander Cook’s Job Offer
During the week of May 22, fans can expect Xander to offer Chloe a job. Chloe might be surprised and wonder what would qualify her to work at the local newspaper. Of course, Chloe has gone through several career changes over the decades. The former opera singer could work in advertising, look over contacts or perhaps Chloe will be Xander’s assistant.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chloe might initially reject Xander’s offer. Chloe has always valued her independence. So, Chloe doesn’t want to accept handouts, including a pity-me job offer. Xander will likely insist that he’s desperate for help and that Chloe is more than qualified.
Xander might also throw in the fact that Chloe doesn’t have any other offers right now. Xander could joke that the alternative is to be his servant.
DOOL Spoilers – New Hire Sabotaged?
Gwen might not be able to stop Xander from hiring Chloe. Gwen won’t want to appear needy or desperate in front of Xander. So, Gwen might pretend she’s all for Chloe coming on board.

However, Gwen will likely spew her inner rage at Chloe. Gwen might even sabotage the work that Chloe does at The Spectator. From there, Gwen could try to change Xander’s view of Chloe.
While Gwen seemed a good match for Xander at one time, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. While it was hard to imagine Xander and Chloe as a romantic couple, it somehow works. So, stay tuned to find out what happens next with Xander, Gwen and Chloe.
