Chanel has wanted to prove to Allie that she is loyal to her. Chanel knows that Allie has been concerned that she has been spending time with Johnny. Chanel knows that Johnny had been grieving over the loss of his grandmother Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). Chanel had wanted to help Johnny to put together a surprise for his grandmother Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Chanel knew that Johnny had been worried that he would lose Marlena because she had been sick from a deadly toxin.
Chanel did not know that helping Johnny would bring her closer to him. Chanel was able to help Johnny to deal with finding out that Marlena had died. Chanel tried to assure Allie that she was being a friend to Johnny but Allie did not believe her. Chanel knew that Allie wanted to have time away from her and she went to stay with her mother Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). Chanel may find that Paulina will want her to try to reconcile with Allie.

Johnny may find that Chanel will be unable to forgive Allie for being with Alex.
