General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) has big plans in store for her dead husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). His remains are sulking in the stables on Spoon Island as Ava goes about her business tying up loose ends in the wake of Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) death. Now that the crazed psychopath is dead, Ava is going to make good use of recent events to clean up her latest mistake — accidentally killing her husband in the heat of the moment when he threatened to harm her daughter. When Ava gets wind that someone is about to blow the whistle of Nikolas’ recent hostage activity back at Wyndemere, she’ll come up with a new plan that will bring much of Port Charles to its knees.
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Baldwin Confesses Her Crimes
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has spent the past week reeling over the guilt she’s carrying about what she did to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Finding out that Esme was never The Hook makes it so unseemly now that Elizabeth held this pregnant woman against her will and let Nikolas convince her to help him. It was always about Nikolas and never about doing good. Elizabeth can’t take another day of looking over her shoulder and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Despite Ava’s attempt to silence her — which came across to Liz as Ava trying too hard — Elizabeth is going to move forward and tell the police what she and Nikolas did to Esme.
GH Spoilers – Hint Ava Panics and Plots For Plan B
When Ava learns that Elizabeth has confessed — likely through Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) spilling the beans — she is certain to panic. Her anxiety will reach new heights as she pictures the PCPD showing up at her manor and combing the whole island in search of evidence to corroborate Elizabeth’s claims. They’ll be looking for Nikolas as well, and that’s just what they’re going to find. They might suspect that Ava was helping him hide out, but really, she’s just hiding what she’s done to him. Not for long.
General Hospital Spoilers — The PCPD Finds Nikolas Cassadine
When the PCPD does find Nikolas’ body, Ava is going to put on quite the act pretending she never knew it was there. What would she know about what’s in the stables? Does she look like the type of woman that rides horses? Ava will play the role of the grieving widow well, although a few key people may see through her, like Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), and Elizabeth.
Still, it makes the most sense to Ava that she set the stage to look like Ryan killed Nikolas. He’s not around to say he didn’t, and he was just there seeking to slaughter everyone else. Will the PCPD even stop to question this theory? Might it throw them for a loop that he didn’t shoot Nikolas? What if Esme and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) insist he never went in the direction of the stables? More questions lie ahead.
