Did King Charles Really ‘Evict’ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were gifted the use of Frogmore Cottage by his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth in 2018. Unfortunately, rumors arose that King Charles feels very angry about his youngest son’s book, “Spare.” Since then, a lot of media coverage has discussed whether the former working royals will attend the coronation of King Charles in May this year. But, will they be able to stay in Frogmore Cottage? Word on the street is that The Palace had issued them an “eviction notice.” However, some folks disbelieve the story.
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle – Once Liked Frogmore Cottage
In happier days, the newlywed couple enjoyed raising their son Archie in the five-bedroomed home. Famous faces like Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra spent time with them and the baby. Meanwhile, it was close enough to Queen Elizabeth’s residence for her to enjoy the new addition to the royal family. These days though, the cottage stands empty most of the time. That is because they live in the USA and reportedly, Meghan doesn’t like it as it’s too small.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle refurbished the cottage and undertook to pay back the taxpayers. In fact, they did that within two years. If you don’t know more than $3 Million dollars was spent on it. Mind you, some people agree that it looks dull and non-stately from the outside. Now, rumors arise that suggest they won’t be able to use it going forward. However, many people think that it’s unlikely. In fact, can you really imagine The King of England writing out an actual eviction notice?
Allegedly King Charles Evicted Prince Harry
The Sun reported this week, that a source revealed that allegedly, King Charles is enough of his son and his wife and wants them out of Frogmore Cottage. The outlet also cited their source as saying, “This surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK.” Furthermore, the suggestion arrived that “Prince Andrew” might take it over. That begs the question: Why would he want to? When @UnlikelyBot shared the news on Twitter, there were some rather skeptical comments that followed.

They asked, “Could this be TRUE? The duo evicted from Frogmore?” Additionally, they noted, “For now who cares, let’s just enjoy FROGXIT.” Prince Harry and his wife and their tax status were questioned in the comments. Some people believe that he only maintained Frogmore Cottage to avoid paying taxes in the USA. Meanwhile, others totally disagreed that King Charles would ever do something as common as delivering an eviction notice. Some of them actually think the whole story should be taken with a pinch of salt.
What Are Royal Family Watchers Saying About Frogmore?
Prince Harry haters said some nasty things about how people hope that they leave the UK forever. But, other rational thinkers offered their opinions. For example, @Writer_rom27 opined, “I do not believe it one second. They said they will be at the coronation and have planned a birthday party for the child at their home. And I end up thinking that these sources are also on the Sussex side, huh…”
Meanwhile, @BarkJack_ noted, “eviction is a rather strong word.” What are your thoughts about the claim that King Charles sent an eviction notice to his youngest son? Do you agree that the word is too strong? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

[…] So, does this mean that Harry and Meghan won’t be coming back to the UK anytime soon – if at all? Maybe. Unless, of course, they stay overnight at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s house. We all know there’s a fat chance of that ever happening, right? […]
