The Young and the Restless spoilers show that a big shock is expected at the 50th-anniversary gala, and it seems like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be staging her own demise! Who could have guessed? According to some theories, Jeremy Stark (Jeremy Hyde) will allegedly give Phyllis something to make it appear as though she was poisoned.
But where, oh where, could this poison have come from? Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is the only one, of course! The awkward part will be when Phyllis needs to work out how to continue acting like she is dead even though she isn’t really. How will she return to her livelihood and family after this?

Since Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and everyone else would never be able to forgive Phyllis for staging her own death to put Diane in jail, there is only one choice. Phyllis will depart with Jeremy from Genoa City, leaving her family behind.
Summer and everyone else will be in mourning for Phyllis while Diane is detained, left to rot in a cage, and rejected by Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). How long will she have to be held captive before the truth is disclosed, or will they ever realize that it was Phyllis and Stark?

It is shocking to think that this could really be the end of Phyllis and everything that she has done over the years. Of course, ending it all over a decades-long vendetta that has nothing to do with your life now is the most Phyllis-thing you could do! So, she’ll be going out on her own terms and with Stark! I wonder where they will run off together and will we see them return in the future at some point?
