Daniel doesn’t feel that his mother is right in faking her death. Daniel also doesn’t feel like Summer should be keeping Phyllis’ secret while her mother-in-law is on trial for murder.

Daniel is trying to help his sister save her marriage and get his mother back home. Unfortunately, the truth is that Summer is the one who actually saw Phyllis is about to come out.
