General Hospital spoilers hint Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is a pretty secure girl. It’s not like her to worry that she’s competing with another woman, and she certainly shouldn’t be worried that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is said competition, right? Things aren’t always what they seem, and the closer Esme and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) grow in coming weeks as they bond over Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), the less sure Trina is going to feel that she can trust Spencer being under the same roof as his previous girlfriend. When Spencer tells her he’s reconsidering trying to take Ace away from Esme, red flags will raise all around for Trina. Ugh, was Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) right about him all along?
General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Heads Home
Spencer and Trina are back from Greenland, and things aren’t quite the same. The rush of adrenaline that was flooding their veins overseas is gone. They’re back in reality now, and they aren’t living in a bubble where only their feelings matter. Spencer was awfully convicted on the flight home about his pursuit of legal guardianship over Ace — no matter what. Trina was so in love with him that she remained blind to just how far a Cassadine is willing to go to get what he wants. That’s not how it’s going to turn out this time though.
GH Spoilers – Reveal Esme Price 2.0 Isn’t All That Bad
Spencer never imagined that his well-laid plans could be disrupted by something as simple as a mother’s love. But seeing Esme with Ace, caring for him with tenderness and attention, has opened his eyes to the possibility that perhaps taking the child away from his mother might not be the best decision after all. It’s not just the practical considerations that have made him rethink his plans. It’s the way he sees her and Ace together, the way she instinctively knows what her child needs, and the clear bond they share. He can’t deny it any longer: Esme is a responsible, loving mother, and taking Ace away from her could cause him irreparable harm. Spencer must now confront an uncomfortable truth, one that threatens to upend everything he thought he knew about the situation.

Hearing Spencer say he has changed his mind and doesn’t want to rip Ace away from his mother is going to come as a shock to Trina. She thought they were in this together, so when did he decide Esme deserves to be a mother and Ace should grow up knowing her? Why is Esme getting a second chance? Just what exactly is going on at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) while they all play house together? The more that Spencer starts to give Esme a pass, the more aggressive Trina is going to become about him living with his ex. This might give rise to some concerns from her parents that Trina is acting out of sorts and unlike herself. Is this what happens to women who get wrapped up in Cassadine men?
