The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is feeling the heat. Her mother’s suspicions about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) applying pressure in the workplace were way off base. So, Hope deflected by reinforcing what Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) wanted to hear.
Telling her mother that Thomas’ feelings were not the problem but hers created an instant need for further explanation. Hope followed by saying that Thomas’ mental instability meant she would never be involved with him.
Brooke seemed appeased by her protected daughter’s response and left. But Thomas heard the exchange in the hallway outside the Forrester Creations’ executive suite, as was the case before Brooke entered and he and Hope were talking.

Brooke is very protective of her daughter. Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) release from prison saw Hope reconnect with her father, who follows Brooke’s involved approach.
It is good that Hope has two parents who are concerned with her well-being. They recognize Hope’s good heart leaves her vulnerable to those who might take advantage of her good nature.
Brooke’s negative history with Thomas makes her naturally suspicious of his motives, with the most recent redemption claim seeming cliché.
B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Hurt By Reputation?
Thomas knows he put himself in a bad position. His repeated attempts to force Hope into a relationship with him began when he used his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), as an emotional weapon.
Hope’s acceptance of Douglas was not connected to any feelings she had for Thomas. But Atkinson’s character successfully created access to Hope that continues through the present day.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) recently told Thomas he will never trust him. Thomas accepted that knowing his respect is a side issue. Hope’s acceptance is what counts.

Devoted viewers know that the remaining half-hour steamer has fewer characters than the full-hour shows. Fewer characters mean change is necessary to create fan interest.

Hope was not in love with Thomas when he returned from New York with Douglas. She did not fall in love with him through last year. But she has clearly developed her feelings for Thomas into the spring.
A combination of factors, including having a personality that is a stark contrast to Liam, has made an impression on Hope. Thomas senses a change and appears destined to gain the romantic opportunity he has been longing for on B&B.
