Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What Colin Petersen Really Wants To Do
Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) finally knows the depths of what her boyfriend is really up to. After going through Colin Petersen’s (Jasper Newman) things, she figures out just what he wants to do to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry). He wants to practically re-enact his mother’s death with Paulina as the victim.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Talia figure this out at the same time and they rush to the Salem Inn where they are sure that Colin has Paulina on the roof and they are right. Chanel is also up there but it is not Chanel that Colin wants dead. He wants Chanel to feel the same pain that he and Sloan Petersen felt when their mother died.
Chanel does her best to distract Colin while waiting for help by trying to get him to see there are two sides to every story. He listens at first but then becomes more enraged than ever, which puts Paulina in more danger than ever.

Aketra Sevillian believes her character truly did not understand what she had really gotten herself into when she came to Salem, but Jada is even more shocked and horrified about what happened to her baby sister with the promising medical career.
“This is all a whirlwind of emotions for Jada,” Sevillian said in the May 29, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She’s trying to protect Talia and trying to talk Colin out of [harming Paulina. Jada’s trying to listen to her sister and do her job at the same time.”

Talia also comes to see that she has actual feelings for Chanel, something she never expected, so she comes to Chanel’s defense with Colin.
“She tells Colin that [his mother’s death] wasn’t Chanel’s fault, that she’s a good person. She’s trying to make him see that he doesn’t want to do this, that the two of them can still run off and have a good life together if he stops.”
