While he may not have let her in on all his secrets one could say that sleeping with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is his way of manipulating things into his favor to work his way up the corporate ladder. He has already destroyed a relationship with family and now with ex Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) so we can assume he is willing to go to any lengths to get to the top.
While he has told Audra there is a connection between the two it wouldn’t surprise me if he decided to use that to his advantage. Having the Co-CEO on your side is never a bad idea and Nate knows all too well that keeping her happy on and off the clock will work to his advantage. We know that there are people in Victoria’s life that are worried this could happen to her but she refuses to listen. Hopefully this is not the case and he doesn’t betray her.
Y&R Spoilers- Audra Dawson’s Ploy To Have Nate Make A Power Move For Sam McCall
Y&R Spoilers reveal Audra has been making herself known to Nate and how she will be beneficial. She is right about that, she is very sneaky making sure she knows all the dirt going on at Newman Media and reporting to Nate what she has found out. While she is the catalyst to Nate and Elena’s break-up she explained that Elena was already suspicious and it wouldn’t be long until he was found out. Knowing the power of persuasion she has over people, Nate could see her manipulation and sneaky tactics as something he will need when he decides to betray Victoria out of her seat as Co-CEO.
Another thing we should realize is Audra is power-hungry herself. We see how swiftly she moved when she was teamed up with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and she could be setting Nate up for failure. She may very well want the position he is in right now and after convincing Elena of his consistent flirtation with Victoria, one could guess that she could be one to get into Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) ear.

She knows what is going on behind the scenes and she knows what the other people at Newman Media think about the inner workings of upper management. She could easily tell Victor that people do not have good things to say about Victoria and Nate being involved and it is making her look weak. Victor could put a stop to it by getting rid of Nate and promoting Audra to Co-CEO where she could be a very reliable ally in taking over McCall Unlimited.
