Of course, this part of Connor’s family is fractured because his parents could not get along and were not fully committed to each other through marriage for years.
Connor initially dismissed the news that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is having Adam’s first daughter. Mackey’s character likes Sally. That made his reaction notable, and he has since become defensive about the matter.

News that Chelsea was Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) mother hit Connor hard. The boys believed they were cousins because their families told them that story.

The experience Billy has with fatherhood is already proving crucial. Connor may not want to hear what his mother’s boyfriend is saying. But Billy’s role as Johnny’s father gives him a unique perspective.
While Adam will never be comfortable with Billy, based on their rough history, even he will likely see that Thompson’s character is looking out for his son on Y&R.
