Rihanna Kicked Off Mosque Grounds In Abu Dhabi, Posts Naked Instagram Selfies After (PHOTOS)
Rihanna‘s never been one to follow the rules, but it’s a little different when she’s doing it in the U.S. versus when she’s doing it in the Middle East. Most countries there aren’t so lax on their rules being broken, and Rihanna should thank her lucky stars that she was just thrown out of an Abu Dhabi mosque and not banned permanently. If she was in any other country or city, barring Dubai and a few others, she would have been deported or worse.
So what caused all the controversy in the first place? Well, Rihanna being Rihanna, she can’t resist posing for selfies wherever she goes. So she decided that a mosque would be the perfect place to sexily pose for Instagram photos. While the pictures are nothing compared to the racy pictures that she’s constantly uploading, I think she forgot and/or didn’t care that she was in a place of holy worship.
She was visiting the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on Sunday during a photo shoot, where she was garbed in a modest black hijab. But I don’t think it was her outfit that was the problem. According to reports, she asked to leave after she started posing for pictures in the mosque’s courtyard that ‘detracted from the sanctity of the site‘.
Obviously – if you thrust your hips out and try to pose ‘sexy’ at a mosque, what else is going to happen? Again, she was lucky that she was just asked to leave. I don’t know if she just refuses to understand the customs of the places she goes to, or she’s just really that ignorant. I can believe both, knowing her history.
What do you guys think of the incident? Of course, Rihanna didn’t stop there. She then posed a nude selfie on her Twitter after the whole controversy went down, showing us that no matter what happens, Rihanna will be Rihanna.
